MesoloreΓÇÖs Atlas consists of three linked maps, each providing greater detail about the Mixteca region of Mexico and its geographic context within Mesoamerica.
The first level--Mesoamerica Map--provides an overview of Mesoamerica, a region encompassing southern Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
The second level--Mixteca Map--provides a detailed view of the region of the Mixteca and its surroundings.
The third level--Mixteca-Zoom Map--provides a detailed view of the towns, topography, and rivers located within the region outlined by the second level.
The fourth link above--List of Mixtec Places--brings up an interactive list of all of the locations included on the Mixteca-Zoom Map.
Regardless of where in the atlas you are, you can always find text links to all three levels of maps in this left-hand column.
